Hello Friends!
I'm making a difference and walking/running a marathon distance of 42.2kms over the next 2 weeks to raise much needed funds for the Think Pink Foundation. I would love if you can follow my journey and also contribute much needed funds to assist The Think Pink Foundation enable a better journey for those touched by breast cancer.

Where Funds Raised Will be Spent
The Living Centre provides emotional, psychological, physical and practical support services free of charge to breast cancer patients from any treatment centre and at any stage of their journey - from initial diagnosis, through treatment and into survivorship.
All money raised goes to breast cancer charity Think Pink - an independent foundation that provides free services to breast cancer patients and their families, assisting them with their journey through breast cancer.
Since opening its doors in 2010, The Living Centre has provided vital support services free of charge to Victorian women and their families on over 3000 occasions.
All donations are directly used to provide services such as:
- Free unlimited counselling with Senior Breast Care Nurses;
- Therapeutic massage and exercise classes;
- Professionally fitted free wigs;
- Free accommodation for families from regional and country Victoria;
- Special events and classes for those returning to work after breast cancer;
- Financial counselling to cope with the cost of breast cancer; and
- Classes such as art therapy, creative writing and family social activities.
I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice - The Think Pink Foundation.
The Yarra’s Edge Progressive Marathon official finish line will be located outside The Wharf Club at Yarra’s Edge, Docklands, on April 21 from 10am to 1pm. Yarra’s Edge boasts one of Melbourne’s healthiest communities, with extensive walking and cycling boulevards, a landmark health facility, superfood bar and much more.

The breast cancer journey is an emotional and physical roller coaster and a breast cancer diagnosis can bring a range of unexpected emotions.
Uncertainty and fear of the future, changes in personal and family relationships, a sense of isolation – these are just some of the emotions that may be felt when one is diagnosed.
Supportive care needs are present at any stage of a patient’s cancer journey. To meet these care needs, Think Pink continues to deliver programs and services to hundreds of people annually affected by cancer in urban, rural and regional areas.
